Fitter machinist, 1st-4th year, North Shore

Interested in pursuing a career as a fitter machinist or looking to continue your apprenticeship?

1300apprentice currently have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to commence or recommence a fitter machinist apprenticeship, with a fantastic host employer based on the North Shore. 

Throughout the apprenticeship, you will be undertaking a Certificate III in Engineering (metal trade).

Duties that you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Use machinery, laths and milling 
  • Mark out/off (general engineering)
  • Use hand and power tools 
  • Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components
  • Machine parts.


  • If you have already commenced a Fitter Machinist apprenticeship, must have up to date TAFE transcripts
  • Drivers licence and own transport
  • Experience with using basic hand tools
  • White card.

  • Dedicated and wanting to learn
  • Follows direction well.
