Be tax ready

24 Jun 2020

As we get closer to the end of financial year (30.06.20), we wanted to provide you with some helpful links to help you prepare for tax time.

A couple of years ago, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) changed the way in which employers reported employee wages, this is known as Single Touch Payroll (STP) which also changed the way in which you would receive your income statement (previously known as group certificate or PAYG Summary).

1300apprentice have until 14 July 2020 to lodge your income statement with the ATO. For you to complete your tax return you will need a MyGov account, here you will be able to view your income statement.

Unfortunately, 1300apprentice are unable to assist you with your tax return or setting up your MyGov account. If you need assistance, you will need to contact the ATO on 13 28 61.

Have a look at some of the helpful links below to help you out during tax time.
