Soldier On – Stronger Together

1300apprentice staff will be taking part in a charity event run by Soldier On who are a charity organisation we have been partnering with in recent times. It will also help contribute to a WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT – the most people to arm wrestle on one day.

Taking part is quite simple – all you have to do is have your photo taken while arm wrestling someone else (since it’s just a photo it doesn’t have to be serious). The more people who are involved the better for this world record attempt.

There will also be a donation box going around on the day. All funds raised go to helping returned service personnel reintegrate into civilian life. Furthermore, our donations will be DOUBLED by their corporate sponsors.

Returned personnel and their families often experience significant stress such as PTSD, physical disabilities and mental disorders. This is why these campaigns are important to raise awareness and support for the wellbeing of these individuals.

Soldier On provides holistic services for their entire family on 3 key areas: social and sporting activities, employment, and educational and psychological support. Over 1600 individuals are currently being supported by their various programs and activities.

So whilst the Invictus Games are still going on and with the approach of Remembrance Day, let us all do our part in this worthy cause and possibly break a world record in the process!

Train hard. Have Fun.
